In 1953 he entered art school in Vladivostok, where he graduated in 1958 with honors.
In 1958 he enrolled in art school. Surikov in Moscow.
In 1961, the fourth course, decides to leave his studies in Moscow and returned to Vladivostok.
Since 1962, the spring until late autumn, lives and works on the islands of Peter the Great Bay.
In 1971 he chooses as his main residence island of Great Pelis (in the late 1970's became a part of Far East State Marine Reserve).
